Wow! It's really been a while, hasn't it?
Well, work has been keeping me pretty busy, but, as you can see, I've found time to start working on the site again. . .which brings me to the reason I've called you all hear today.
I was looking at my main page, and I realized that I never mentioned the focus of this site. Haha! Silly me! ^_^ The Angel-1 Network will be a major hodgepodge of creativity divided into four specific stations: The X-Files, Disney's Gargoyles, and Japanese animation, as well as original works of art, fiction, and poetry. I am now at the stage where I will be accepting art (i.e. filksongs, poetry, fanart, and fanfic) involving Gargoyles, X-Files, and any anime. All pics will be subject to approval. I really hate to censor, but I have to be careful about what is displayed on this site or else I'll get kicked off. (Yes, there *is* a difference between art and smut.) I will accept most adult fanfic, but there must be something in the beginning of the text stating that the story contains mature content. Also, ALL FANFIC must have a disclaimer displayed in the beginning of the text. Example: "[the show] is the property of [the studio/the company/the show's creator(?)]. All original characters are the property of [the author]." It's that simple, and it'll prevent both of us from getting threatened with a lawsuit....hopefully....
I will also accept original works of art. Not to worry...all artists will be given full credit for the work being displayed. Angel-1 or myself will not attempt to claim ownership. I also plan on installing a BBS so that everyone can post their own rants and raves. Trust me, folks - once everything is up and running full swing, it's gonna be hella-kewl!
So, send your submissions to this e-mail address. One more thing: all pics must be in ".gif" or ".jpg" format, and all writings must be in ".txt" (Wordwrap, PLEASE!!) or ".html". Warning: If you send files in ".html" format, they will automatically have a banner pasted on them when they are displayed on the site. Not my rules, folks. It's the policy of my webspace provider.
